CHEF MARCUS'S STORY

I do what I love

My name is Marcus Bryant; I am an entrepreneur and the CEO of Chef Marcus's Kitchen Tacolicious and Catering Business, LLC.

I was raised in California and became deaf when I was three. 

In 1994 I attended University High School where I became interested in the culinary arts. I then attended the Coastline Regional Occupational Program in Costa Mesa, California Where I graduated and received a certificate in culinary arts. Through the culinary arts program, I trained at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa.  Since completing the culinary arts program I got my first job at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort as pantry prep. I have since been employed at other resorts such as The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California as a Grade Manger and Butcher, and the Hilton Doubletree as a Line Cook. I then relocated to Arizona and was employed at Seville Golf & Country Club in Gilbert, as a Lead Chef, Superstition Mountain Golf in Gold Canyon, as a Line Cook. I have received 3 certificates of Appreciation and Achievement from various facilities.  I have been cooking now for 26 years and still love what I do. 

For those of you, who want to pursue a career as a chef like me, apply to a culinary arts school. Follow your dreams, believe in yourself and DON’T GIVE UP and you will be successful, believe me!

LET ME CATER YOUR EVENT

  1. You pick any item you want on the menu list we have below here in the next page

  1. We will prep and cook at your event for 4-6 hours a day

  2. We can carry and set up a beautiful white tent 10" x 20 " up to 12 people at your place or reserve your own space unit at the City Parks & Recreation

  3. Reservation and deposit must be made on a final decision before 2 weeks in Advance for your next event day
